What Happens if the All Ice Melted

By Science  • 1579 Views

All speak about global warming but nobody can imagine what happens if all ice on our planet will melted.

Water level when all ice will melted

After the ocean ice the biggest water reservoir. The are more than five million cubic miles on it and nobody knows how long would take time to melt it all. Probably more that 5000 years. But if we burn all the Earth’s supply of coal, oil and gas it might be happen much faster. It’s enough to raise the average temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit instead of the current 58, and all the ice melts.

So on image above you can see graph about water level when all ice was melted. As you can see most coast based cities will be under water. New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Boston, Brussels, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and other beautiful cities…

Very sad image.
