Florida man arrested for playing national anthem too loud

It develops that too much patriotism is not welcome. This man was arrested during celebration of Independence day for rocking way too hard to the national anthem.

The next time someone will blame you for lack of patriotism in USA you could say that you just don’t want to end up behind the bars.

Lane Pittman, rather well-known guitarist from Jacksonville, Florida, is a pure patriot of his country. He celebrated the Fourth of July with his friends and played a hard version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on his guitar. Everybody was happy. Except cops.

They didn’t like Lane played too loud so they asked him to stop. Maybe these guys just weren’t in very good mood but they arrested Pittman right after he refused to move his concert off the street. “Breach of peace” and don’t tell them you are just so passionate patriot.

Pittman commented:

I did not have a drop of alcohol in my system and was just trying to be as patriotic as I can, legally, on the day of our independence.

He added that he would…

never, for a second, want them to think that intentionally rebelling against authority is something that I am for. Nor do I want the parents of those youth to think that.

I suspect that these cops could have more problems that Lane Pittman. “Man arrested for patriotism” – not the best article heading for the Florida police department.
